Hobart College is for men and students who are gender diverse. The mission of the Hobart Dean's Office is to guide and assist each Hobart student to reach their fullest potential as a Hobart Statesman during their years at the College. Hobart College was founded in 1822 by Bishop John Henry Hobart. In the Bicentennial year of the College, we take pride in our long-standing traditions and especially in knowing that it takes to help all of our students meet the ever-changing challenges of higher education. Programs include: Charter Day, John Henry Hobart Day, Benjamin Hale Dinner, Hobart Launch, Druid Society, Chimera, and Orange Key.

The William Smith Dean's Office is the keeper of William Smith College's rich traditions, and the main source of academic support and encouragement for William Smith Students. We are a community of intelligent and talented young women and students who are gender diverse joining together to celebrate each other's many accomplishments, and to support each other. We foster and celebrate the creativity, scholarship, service, leadership, and athleticism of William Smith students, and we work hard to ensure that every William Smith student receives the guidance they need in order to succeed academically. Programs include: Deans' Welcome at Orientation, Founder's Day, Celebrating Excellence Dinner, Moving Up Day, Hai Timiai, Laurel Society, and Helen Heath Scholars.

The Office of Academic and Faculty Affairs supports the academic mission and curriculum of the Colleges and upholds the stewardship of academic programs and support services. The Office also assists the faculty in their implementation of the curriculum, their scholarly and professional development, and their integral role in developing the culture and expectations of the Colleges through faculty governance. Our mission is to provide the resources and structure to provide a high quality educational experience for HWS students and to support faculty colleagues in their research and scholarship.
